I finally got around to seeing Black Swan and while the film was interesting and not really what i expected i was more captivated by the beautiful costumes and make-up throughout. Natalie Portman transforms from a innocent and regal ballerina into a dark, twisted and driven dancer.
The costumes were designed by fashion brillance Rodarte and this ballerina trend has definately trickled down into our latest fashion must-haves!!!

Marie Claire Magazine featured a piece on Black Swan's influence on fashion in their December 2010 issue. The mixings of soft delicate features like ruffles and frills intertwined with dark accent colours and diamonte features gives this sweet look that edgy twist.
