*** Dilemma ****

I sadly have had no Internet for the last week.....just sneaking on now in work before i get caught......so i cant update or add or comment back on my brand new blog :( 

Hopefully the problem will get fixed soon as i have soooooo much i wanna add, i feel like the design of the blog is still under construction aswell and isnt the best it can be but aiming to do lots of work on it on friday!!! Thanx for the lovely comments & i'll follow back as soon as i can get online for longer i promise xXx

Book of the Week

Last year I studied for my Masters in Fashion Merchandise Managament in Solent University in Southampton and kind of applied on a whim. I’ve worked in Fashion Retail for many years and wanted a new challenge, with absolutely no art, sketching, drawing or photo-shop experience I didn’t think there was a chance in hell I would get in especially seeing as I applied in late December and the course began in Mid-January but somehow some crazy people decided to give me a chance. I really enjoyed all the artistic aspects of the course even though I was about 3years behind the rest of the class in terms of ability I still managed to kick some butt and pass with flying colours. 

Since then though I have kind of slcaked in Creativity so I wanted to get something to give me a renewed kick-start.I found this great book DIY Fashion by Selena Francis-Bryden which is perfect for me. The book contains over 40 different projects to make that don't require prior sewing knowledge or the use of a sewing machine. The steps are broken down easily accompanied beautiful illustrations by Laura Tinald (You can find all her info here on her webpage: http://www.lauratinald.co.uk/) 

The book is also incredibly informative on recycling clothing, the environment and how to create your own style through vintage shopping and customization.

Jewels......Beautiful Jewels....Oh My!!!

Lately i have become obsessed with buying and sourcing all sorts of jewellery especially rings....i don't really know why seeing as i don't have the nicest fingers in the world so don't know why i would want to show them off!! I remember as a kid playing dress-up with my sister and rumaging through all of my mother's & grandmother's jewellery and picking out what pieces we wanted when we got older....we fought over alot of the pieces....still kinda are :) 

I've kind of become known for big statement rings now & in work the guys are always spotting my latest buys. I love vintage one-off pieces but the highstreet has some lovely finds too if your're a little more budget conscious. My favourites include; Topshop, Forever21, Aldo and here are just some of my recent buys!!!

Getting to know all about me

I thought i would start off my very first blog with a post all about me.....not because i'm vain (ha ha) but because i thought it would be a good overall introduction :)

Well i'm Rhiannon, a 25 year old fashion enthusist. I studied both Fashion and Film and thus am constantly living in a world of creativity & dreams!! I work in Fashion Retail along with my entire family but am constantly on the hunt for a new challenge so watch out!!! I have a huge obsession for chunky crazy one-of-a kind rings, i love to shop beyond my means, my perfect nite-out is spent on the dancefloor, i have a fond obsession with celebrity culture, i enjoy learning anything & everything and overall i'm an internet addict :) But one day i hope to be a world known fashionista!!
